Although the the title may imply otherwise, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, written by Mark Twain, is more than just a children's adventure novel. The book explores complex issues such as racism, slavery, and the influence of society. The novel follows Huckleberry Finn and a runaway slave, Jim, down the Mississippi River. Through a variety of interesting episodes, Huck realizes that Jim is a human being too and enjoys his company. Huck's development leads him to a difficult decision ...
